US’ Florida governor approves bill banning social media for minors

Tallahassee: Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed law today to ban social media for minors under a bill passed in the country. If the bill does not get entangled in legal challenges, it will be the biggest ban on social media in the US.

Under this bill, social media accounts of children below the age of 14 years will be banned and parental permission will be required for the use of social media.
