Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Rajbir Singh Ghuman, has openly challenged senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia to produce evidence supporting allegations that he sought money from someone.
Ghuman said that if Majithia has any evidence against him, it should be made public. If no evidence exists, he demanded that Majithia publicly apologise or be prepared to face a defamation case.
Ghuman also defended the AAP government’s performance in Punjab, claiming that it had undertaken exemplary work during its four-year tenure.
He alleged that opposition parties were unable to counter the government’s work and were therefore attempting to mislead people through what he described as false allegations.
Ghuman said the AAP government was working honestly for Punjab and would continue to do so.
