Punjab BJP chief Keval Singh Dhillon meets PM Modi, discusses state’s development and key issues

New Delhi: Punjab BJP president Keval Singh Dhillon met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Parliament House in New Delhi on Monday and discussed a range of issues concerning Punjab, including the state’s development, economy and agricultural sector.

According to the BJP, the meeting focused on Punjab’s overall development, economic challenges and matters relating to farmers’ welfare.

Dhillon also briefed the Prime Minister on the current political and social situation in Punjab and highlighted several issues concerning the state.

The Prime Minister, according to the party, listened carefully to the points raised during the meeting and reiterated the Centre’s commitment to Punjab’s growth and prosperity.

The BJP said Modi assured Dhillon that the Union government remains fully committed to the development, welfare and progress of Punjab and that no effort would be spared in supporting the state’s development initiatives.
