41 labourers rescued from tunnel will get Rs 1 lakh each competition, to get one month paid leave
Uttarakhand: The evacuation of 41 laborers trapped in Uttarakhand’s Silkyara Tunnel Operation Successful after 17 days is nothing short of an achievement. It would have been almost impossible without the efforts of the rat miners.
All the 41 labourers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarakhand were safely rescued on Tuesday evening, after which there was a wave of happiness in the whole country including their families. The Uttarakhand government is also getting praise from all sides.
At 7.50 pm on Tuesday, the first worker was pulled out of the tunnel. About 45 minutes later, all the 41 workers were evacuated one after the other. All of them underwent a medical check-up at the temporary hospital in the tunnel. The government will give them Rs 1 lakh each compensation and one month paid leave.
