AAP claims poll body bans its Lok Sabha elections campaign song

New Delhi: The Election Commission has raised objections to the Aam Aadmi Party’s theme song regarding the Lok Sabha elections.

In response, Delhi Minister and AAP leader Atishi criticized the BJP, stating, “When the BJP incarcerates opposition leaders using the ED-CBI, the Election Commission remains silent; however, if we include it in our song, the Election Commission raises objections.”

According to Atishi, if the BJP’s autocratic actions are acceptable, then anyone should be able to speak out against it; however, the Election Commission deems it unacceptable to use the term “dictatorship” in the song, arguing that it targets the government.
