Angry passenger punches pilot after flight delayed by 13 hours, case filed

New Delhi: A case of assault with the captain on an IndiGo flight has come to light. Angered by the delay in the flight, a passenger punched the captain. A video related to this incident is going viral on social media. The incident occurred on an IndiGo flight (6E-2175) from Delhi to Goa after being delayed by several hours due to fog.

Actually, this pilot was giving information about the delay in the aircraft.

The passenger has been identified as Sahil Kataria. IndiGo has filed a complaint against the passenger. Soon after the incident, Sahil Kataria was ejected from the aircraft and handed over to the authorities.

According to the IGI Airport Police, on the complaint of Anoop Kumar, the co-pilot of IndiGo flight, the police has registered an FIR under sections 323, 341, 290 and 22 aircraft rules of the IPC.
