Arvind Kejriwal to skip ED notice again today, AAP says, ‘ED should wait for court’s decision’
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal will once again not appear before the ED. The Aam Aadmi Party says that Kejriwal will not go to the ED yet.
The matter is in court, and the next hearing is scheduled for March 16. The party asserts that instead of issuing daily summons, the ED should await the court’s decision. The Aam Aadmi Party emphasizes that pressure is being exerted on them to withdraw from the INDIA alliance, but they will not yield to it.
The Modi government should refrain from applying such pressure. Arvind Kejriwal contends that the ED’s summons are illegal. The party workers said that if legally correct summons are issued, he will certainly appear before the ED.
Additionally, Kejriwal alleges that PM Modi’s aim is to arrest him before the Lok Sabha elections. He accuses the government of attempting to destabilize the Delhi government through his arrest. However, AAP asserts that they will not allow this to happen. Kejriwal maintains that these summons are politically motivated.
