‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ is not just a slogan, but a pledge, says PM Modi in Adampur air base

Adampur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed Indian Air Force personnel at the Adampur air base, where he praised the armed forces for their courage and said the slogan “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” is not merely a chant, but a pledge of dedication to the nation.

“When our drones and missiles eliminate our enemies, they hear ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. When our armed forces break free from nuclear blackmail, our adversaries realise the power behind this slogan,” Modi said while speaking to Air Force personnel and other soldiers present at the base.

The Prime Minister said he had come to pay homage to the bravery of the Indian armed forces. “The stories of your courage will be etched in history forever. I salute the personnel of our Army, Air Force, and Navy. Due to your valour, the echo of the success of Operation Sindoor is being heard across the world,” he said.

Calling India the land of both Gautam Buddha and Guru Gobind Singh, Modi said the country’s enemies have underestimated the strength of its armed forces. “The godfathers of terrorism now know that casting an evil eye on India will only lead to their destruction,” he said.

He added that the armed forces had forced the Pakistan Army “to come to its knees” and that “Pakistan will not sleep for a long time thinking about our drones and missiles.”

Modi credited Operation Sindoor for strengthening national unity and boosting public morale.

He said the speed and precision with which the Indian Air Force targeted terror launch pads inside Pakistan took the enemy by surprise.
