Bharti Airtel announces 10-21% hike in mobile service rates from July 3

New Delhi: Bharti Airtel has announced a 10-21 percent increase in the rates of mobile services today. This comes a day after his rival Reliance Jio announced a hike in rates.

The move assumes significance as the telecom industry has increased rates for the first time in two-and-a-half years.

Airtel said in a statement that the increase in rates of various plans is between 10-21 percent. The hike in mobile services rates will come into effect from July 3.
