Boxer Vijender Singh quits Congress to join BJP

New Delhi: Before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, international boxer Vijender Singh has left the Congress and joined the BJP.

Earlier, there was talk that Congress could field Vijender Singh in the election field against BJP candidate Hema Malini from Mathura. Singh was the Congress candidate from the South Delhi seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He had to face defeat in this election.
