BRS MLC K Kavitha arrested in Delhi liquor policy case

New Delhi: In the Delhi Liquor Policy case, the Enforcement Directorate has taken significant action by arresting Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader K Kavitha from Hyderabad.

The ED is now transporting Kavitha to Delhi for questioning. She was arrested hours after the ED raided her house in Hyderabad today. Kavitha had disregarded several summons from the ED, prompting the agency to conduct a raid at her house.

Kavitha, a member of the Legislative Council in Telangana and the daughter of party chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, has already been questioned by the ED in this case. Despite being summoned at least twice this year, she failed to appear for questioning.
