CM Mann flays Centre for not including Punjab’s tableau on Republic day parade again, says BJP adopts ‘Step motherly’ treatment
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann slammed the BJP-led Central government for excluding Punjab’s tableau for the Republic Day parade on January 26 the second consecutive year.
He expressed disappointment, stating that the Centre’s treatment toward Punjab under the Aam Aadmi Party’s governance seemed biased and said that BJP has adopted step-motherly treatment for Punjab.
Addressing the media, the CM emphasized that the BJP’s decision not to include Punjab’s tableau was a disregard for the sacrifices of martyrs like Bhagat Singh. He further condemned the BJP’s actions, mentioning their withholding of Punjab’s development funds as another deplorable measure.
