Six members of an Indian-origin family killed in US road crash
Christmas holidays turned tragic for a family in Andhra Pradesh when six members of a family were killed in a road accident in Texas, US. All the deceased were relative of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLA Satish Kumar from Mumidivaram. The victims were killed in a truck-car collision on a highway in Johnson County on Tuesday.
The victims have been identified as P. Nageshwar Rao, his wife Sita Mahalakshmi, daughter Navina, daughter-in-law Kritik and Nishita. Nageshwar Rao’s son-in-law Lokesh was injured and taken to a hospital where his condition is said to be critical. According to the MLA, his uncle and his family were living in Atlanta. They were returning home after meeting some relatives in Texas on Christmas holidays.
