Coast Guard helicopter crashes in Gujarat’s Porbandar, three killed

Porbandar: An Indian Coast Guard (ICG) helicopter crashed during a landing attempt in Porbandar on Sunday afternoon, claiming the lives of three crew members.

The incident occurred around 12:10 pm, according to Porbandar SP Bharatsinh Jadeja. The Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) caught fire during the crash, leaving the crew with severe burns.

Inspector Rajesh Kanmia of Kamla Bagh police station confirmed that all three crew members succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
