Congress takes out rally in Srinagar to mark the end of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, leaders of several parties join

Sri Nagar: The Congress today took out a rally to mark the conclusion of its ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ amid heavy snowfall in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and party president Mallikarjun Kharge led the rally which started from sher-e-Kashmir cricket stadium.

It was also attended by representatives of DMK, National Conference (NC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Communist Party of India (CPI), Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) and Indian Union Muslim League (IUML).
With this rally, the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, which passed through 12 states and two Union Territories in about five months, came to an end.
The padayatra started from Kanyakumari on September 7 last year. During the visit, Rahul Gandhi addressed 12 public meetings, more than 100 nukkad meetings, 13 press conferences.
