Delhi airport gets bomb threat call for Delhi Kolkata flight

New Delhi: An unidentified person called up at the International Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) here today and issued a bomb threat. Later, investigations revealed that the threat was fake, police said.

“At 5.15 am, a bomb threat call was received at the IGI Airport regarding a flight from Delhi to Kolkata. The plane was about to depart from the base. During the investigation, the call was found to be fake. Necessary safety norms were followed keeping in mind the safety of passengers.”
