“Earlier governments used to only make announcements, we did what we said”: PM Modi in Azamgarh
Azamgarh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 782 development projects worth Rs 34,700 crore at Manduri Airport premises in Azamgarh district on Sunday.
On this occasion, PM Modi expressed his commitment to propel India towards development by 2047, emphasizing the swift pace at which the country is being governed.
He highlighted that numerous development projects for the entire nation are being initiated from Azamgarh, transforming it from a once considered backward area into a beacon of development.
PM Modi underscored the significance of the projects, valued at approximately Rs 34,000 crore, being inaugurated and foundation stones laid across multiple states from Azamgarh.
In a veiled criticism of the opposition, Prime Minister Modi said, “The laying of foundation stones in 2024 should not be viewed through the lens of elections; rather, it reflects my unwavering dedication to development. I am steadfastly working towards realizing the vision of a developed India by 2047.”
Unlike previous governments that merely made announcements, his government is committed to delivering on its promises, he said.
