ECI seeks response from BJP, Congress on complaints received against PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi: The Election Commission has sought responses from the BJP and the Congress on complaints of poll violations against PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi.
The EC has sent notices to BJP and Congress amid complaints of violation of model code of conduct.
The Commission has asked both the parties to file their replies by 11 am on April 29.
According to the information received, the Election Commission has issued this notice regarding the speech of PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi.
During the election campaign for the last few days, BJP and Congress have been attacking each other. The issue of legacy tax remains a new issue of tussle between the two parties. All senior BJP officials, including PM Narendra Modi, are attacking the Congress about this.
