New Delhi: Farmers from Haryana blocked the national highway to Delhi demanding minimum support price (MSP) for sunflower crop procurement as they were not satisfied with the relief given by the chief minister.
The decision to block National Highway 44 was taken by farmers at a ‘mahapanchayat’ held at Pipli village in Kurukshetra district. Traffic has been diverted on the Delhi-Chandigarh route to avoid congestion.
