FBI director in India today for two-day visit
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray is scheduled for a two-day visit to India starting today. The Ministry of External Affairs previously stated that the visit would concentrate on security and counterterrorism. Additionally, officials from both countries are anticipated to discuss the alleged conspiracy to assassinate American separatist figure Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. The US administration has charged an Indian national and an official from an Indian agency with conspiracy to commit murder. The FBI director is also set to meet with officials from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
