Govt trapped India in ‘chakravyuh’ like Abhimanyu: Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi accused the Central government of trapping the youth, farmers and the poor of India in a cycle like Abhimanyu.
Participating in a discussion on the Union Budget in the Lok Sabha, he said that thousands of years ago, six people killed Abhimanyu by trapping him in chakravyuh, another name for Chakravyuh is ‘Padmavyuh’ which is the shape of a lotus flower, which has fear and violence.
During this time, Rahul Gandhi named Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, besides four other people, to which Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla objected.
The Congress leader claimed that just as army personnel have been trapped in the cycle of Agneepath, the central government has trapped the whole of India.
He said that the annadata had demanded MSP to get out of the chakravyuh, but the MSP was not given. Speaking on behalf of the India Alliance, Rahul Gandhi said that we will give a legal guarantee of MSP.
