Himachal CM announces Rs 1,500 per month for women in the age group of 18-60 years

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu announced that the state government will provide Rs 1,500 per month to women in the age group of 18 to 60 years from the next financial year.

This promise was included in the ’10 guarantees’ made by the Congress before the assembly elections, which the government has fulfilled.

Addressing reporters here, he said the government has fulfilled five out of 10 poll promises with this. He reiterated that 1.36 lakh employees of the state have been benefited by restoring the old pension scheme.
