Mann, Kejriwal meet party MLA lodged in Gujarat jail, attacks BJP
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann today met jailed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Chaitra Vasava here and claimed that the “tyranny and dictatorship” of the ruling BJP has crossed all limits.
The Chief Minister said Vasava would be the AAP’s candidate from Bharuch Lok Sabha seat in the general elections due in the next few months.
Mann said the way the BJP takes action against those who fight for the people is a challenge for the entire country. Anyone who works for the public and is popular is thrown into jail on the basis of false cases using the ED and the CBI. “This is dictatorial and will not last long,” he said.
