New Delhi: The first day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament witnessed an uproar on Thursday as opposition parties raised slogans over the Manipur violence and demanded a statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue.
Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha served a notice to suspend Parliament to discuss the deteriorating law and order situation in the state of Manipur due to the failure of the central and state governments.
