Lok Sabha adjourned for the day as ruckus erupts over Manipur issue

Punjab E News: For the second consecutive day in the Monsoon Session of Parliament, the Lok Sabha echoed Manipur violence and the House was adjourned for the day at around 12.15 pm after the House was adjourned once again due to the uproar by the opposition over prime minister Narendra Modi’s statement and demand for a discussion on the issue.
    As soon as the House met for the day, the opposition parties started raising the Issue of Manipur. Members of the Congress, DMK, Left parties also raised slogans. Some were holding placards that read, “India wants the Prime Minister to come to the House.” Slogans of ‘answer, answer’ were also raised during this time.
