National Highway-5 closed near Solan bypass on Shimla-Kalka road

New Delhi: National Highway 5 was closed near Shamlech village in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district this morning due to landslides. The landslide occurred around 7.30 am near Solan bypass on Shimla-Kalka road.

There was no loss of life in the incident but traffic on the route was disrupted. Vehicles got stuck on both sides of the road. At the same time, the police have asked the drivers to go on the old Barog road. The cleaning of the road has been started.
