‘No separate law for CM’: HC rejects Kejriwal’s plea against arrest
New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, arrested in a money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy scam, has received a setback from the Delhi High Court. The High Court has dismissed the petition filed against arrest and detention.
Apart from his arrest, Arvind Kejriwal had also challenged his remand to the custody of the Enforcement Directorate. After the ED custody, Kejriwal has been sent to judicial custody and is currently lodged in Tihar Jail.
At the same time, sources say that the Aam Aadmi Party is not happy with this decision. He does not agree with the decision of the Delhi High Court.
