Olympics 2024: Neeraj Chopra reaches the final of Javelin Throw
Paris: Neeraj Chopra has a throw of 89.34 meters in the first attempt and he has qualified for the final round in the first attempt itself. Apart from Neeraj Chopra, Pakistan’s Sharad Nadeem also managed to make it to the final round with a throw of 86.59 in the first attempt.
To qualify for the final, it was necessary that Neeraj throw more than 84 meters, and Neeraj has succeeded in doing so.
However, Neeraj’s effort will now be on throwing 90 meters. Neeraj, who won gold for India in the Tokyo Olympics, is expected to win gold in the Olympics this time too. If Neeraj Chopra is successful in winning gold this time too, he can become the fifth javelin thrower in the world to win gold in two consecutive Olympics.
