Petrol, diesel prices cut across the country, know revised rate

New Delhi: The Central Government has given great relief to the common people as the Lok Sabha election 2024 approaches. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas announced the reduction in petrol and diesel prices through the social media platform ‘X’.

Officials said that a decision has been taken to revise the retail prices of petrol and diesel. The prices of these petroleum products had remained stable for nearly two years.

After this reduction, the price of petrol in the national capital (Petrol Price Today in Delhi) is now Rs 94.72 per liter, which was earlier Rs 96.72 per liter. At the same time, diesel price in Delhi is Rs 87.62 per liter, which was earlier Rs 89.62 per liter.

In Mumbai, petrol and diesel can be availed at Rs 75.77 per litre and Rs 65.73 per litre, respectively. In Chennai and Kolkata, petrol prices are Rs 79.33 per litre and Rs 79.10 per litre.
