Raghav Chadha should tender unconditional apology to Rajya Sabha chairperson: Supreme Court

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has suggested AAP leader Raghav Chadha to meet the Rajya Sabha chairperson and tender an unconditional apology over his suspension from the House.
The apex court recorded the statements of Chadha’s counsel that the MP has no intention to affect the dignity of the House of which he is a member and will seek time to meet the Rajya Sabha chairperson so that he can tender an unconditional apology.
The court said that in the backdrop of the facts and circumstances of the House, the apology by the chairperson can be considered sympathetically.
