Rahul Gandhi promises 30 lakh government jobs if Congress forms government

New Delhi: At the public meeting of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra held in Banswara, Rajasthan on Thursday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi gave five major guarantees for youth justice.

Rahul Gandhi announced 30 lakh government jobs for the youth if the party is voted to power at the Centre.

Referring to the party’s proposed measures for the youth, the poor and other sections, Gandhi said, “What is the Congress party going to do for the youth? First step, we have counted- 30 lakh government posts are vacant in India… (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi ji does not get them filled.

The BJP does not fill them. After coming to power, the first task will be to give these 30 lakh government jobs, he said.
