Sexual harassment case: Haryana minister Sandeep Singh appears before Chandigarh court
Chandigarh News: Haryana minister and former hockey player Sandeep Singh today appeared before the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Rahul Garg in connection with a case registered by the Chandigarh Police in connection with the alleged sexual harassment of a women’s coach.
The court had issued a notice to Sandeep Singh following a charge sheet filed by the Chandigarh Police last month.
Sandeep Singh, along with his lawyers Ravinder Pandit and Siddharth Pandit, appeared before the court today after the sessions court granted him anticipatory bail yesterday.
The court directed Singh to surrender before the trial court within 10 days. Singh had furnished a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh. The Chandigarh Police had registered a case on December 31, 2022, on the complaint of the junior women’s coach.
