SKM seeks registration of 302 charge sheet against Haryana police
Chandigarh: After a meeting of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha here today, the farmer leaders demanded that a case of 302 be registered against the police personnel who opened fire on the farmers.
On this occasion, Balbir Singh Rajewal said that on February 23, the farmers will protest by burning the effigy of the Home Minister. On this occasion, Rakesh Tikait said that on February 26, all the farmers will protest on the main highway with tractors.
It may be recalled that the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) held a meeting here today to discuss the situation at Shambhu and Khanauri border points between Punjab and Haryana.
The SKM had led the agitation in 2020-21 against the central government’s three farm laws.
The laws were later repealed. Several SKM leaders from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and other states were here for today’s meeting.
