“Won’t allow democracy to be murdered”, says CJI on Chandigarh mayoral election
New Delhi: The Supreme Court has made a big intervention in the Chandigarh Mayor election case.
The court has ordered to preserve all the records of the mayoral election.
The court asked the Registrar General of the Punjab and Haryana High Court to preserve the records by 5 pm today.
The Supreme Court issued notice on the petition of the AAP councillor. The next hearing will be on February 12.
