“Working Overtime To Harm Us”: Adani Group on Mahua Moitra’s ‘cash-for-question’ controversy

New Delhi: The Adani Group on Monday said it is clear that some groups and individuals are doing “too much work” (overtime) with the aim of damaging the “name, goodwill and market position” of its group, and this is proved by the allegations that Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra and Hiranandani Group CEO Darshan Hiranandani targeted Gautam Adani and his group of companies through questions asked in Parliament. There was a conspiracy to create.
The Adani Group’s statement came after Supreme Court lawyer Jay Anant Dehadri filed a complaint with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the form of an affidavit.
Jay Anant Dehadri’s affidavit alleged that Moitra had received bribes and undue benefits from Darshan Hiranandani to ask questions in Parliament so that questions could be asked in Parliament on behalf of Darshan Hiranandani, which would specifically target Gautam Adani and his group of companies.
