ED questions former Haryana CM Hooda in black money laundering case
New Delhi: Former Haryana Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda was on Wednesday questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with its money laundering probe into alleged irregularities in land acquisition at Manesar during 2004-07.
The agency has recorded the statement of 76-year-old Hooda under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The ED probe pertains to the illegal acquisition of land in Manesar in Haryana between 2004 and 2007 with the alleged connivance of senior government officials and bureaucrats.
