Former Jalandhar mayor Jagdish Raja not to join AAP, former 10 Congress councillors joined
Jalandhar News: Former Jalandhar Mayor Jagdish Raja did not quit the Congress and joined the Aam Aadmi Party. There was speculations of him joining AAP since Saturday morning. There is talk about Raja that the Aam Aadmi Party did not include him due to his past work.
Raja, however, said he himself has denied quitting the Congress. Jagdish Raja said that he is not leaving the Congress, all things are rumors.
In Chandigarh, several former councillors from North, West and Central constituencies led by CM Bhagwant Mann have joined AAP.
These include Om Prakash Sharda, Balkishan Bali, Manu, Shamsher Singh, Deshraj Jassal, Manmohan Raju, Balkishan Bali and other councillors.
MP Sushil Rinku, Jalandhar MLA and Local Government Minister Balkar Singh, MLA Raman Arora and others were also present on the occasion.
Congress expels more than 10 leaders
Several Congress leaders, including councillors who quit the Congress and joined the AAP, have been expelled by the party.
According to the information received, Rajinder Beri, who was an MLA from Central constituency and president, sent this list to the high command three days ago.
After which more than a dozen city leaders have been expelled by them. According to sources, this action has been taken on charges of carrying out anti-party activities.
