Lok Sabha polls: AAP appoints district vice presidents of the trade wing in Punjab
Chandigarh: Further strengthening the party’s base ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha elections in the state, the Aam Aadmi Party appointed 63 district-vice presidents of the trade wing on Friday.
Among them, the party high command appointed Anoop Chabbra, a prominent industrialist from Goraya town in Jalandhar, as the district vice president of the trade wing.
Expressing gratitude to the AAP high command, Anoop Chabbra said that he joined the party after being impressed by the honest and clean governance of the AAP government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
He also pledged to dedicate himself to further strengthening the party’s base.
Notably, the AAP is placing significant importance on traders and has been organizing Sarkar Sanatkar Milnis to address the grievances of industrialists and traders. Therefore, appointing traders ahead of the polls is considered a crucial move, said a senior AAP leader.
