PM Modi’s late night ‘roadshow’ as locals shower flower petals
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Thursday evening after a long and busy day in Gujarat.
On Friday, he will launch several development projects here. Earlier, he suddenly reached Shivpur-Phulwaria-Lahartara road at midnight to inspect it.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present on the occasion.
Recently this bridge has been inaugurated. This is very helpful for about 5 lakh people living around the southern part, BHU, BLW etc., who want to go towards the airport, Lucknow, Azamgarh and Ghazipur.
This bridge has been built at a cost of Rs 360 crore. This is helping in easing traffic. This led to BHU. The travel distance from the airport has been reduced from 75 minutes to 45 minutes. Similarly, the distance from Lahartara to the court has been reduced from 30 minutes to 15 minutes.
