Amritpal’s brother Harpreet gets bail in drug case

Chandigarh: A Phillaur court on Thursday granted bail to Harpreet Singh Happy, the brother of pro-Khalistan activist and newly-elected MP Amritpal Singh from the Sri Khadoor Sahib seat.

Happy and Lovepreet had been sent to judicial custody for 14 days after their remand ended four days ago.

On Saturday, the court set July 23 as the date for the hearing on the bail application.

However, the hearing for the bail of Lovepreet Singh and Happy could not be completed on that day. Both sides were heard in court today, after which the court granted bail to Happy.
