DSP dies of heart attack in Ludhiana gym during workout

Ludhiana: DSP Dilpreet Singh (50) passed away due to a heart attack in Ludhiana, Punjab. Dilpreet was posted at Malerkotla. On Thursday, he experienced a sudden heart attack while exercising at a luxury hotel gym near Bhai Bala Chowk on the Ludhiana-Ferozepur road. He was swiftly taken to a hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

Dilpreet Singh, a Ludhiana resident, maintained a regular gym routine. Previously, he served as ACP in Ludhiana. According to his colleagues, Dilpreet was very health-conscious and never skipped his gym sessions.

On Thursday, he arrived at the gym around four o’clock in the evening. While exercising, he complained of chest pain and subsequently collapsed.

His bodyguard, along with other gym members, rushed him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead by the doctors.
