Explosion in Heritage Street near Golden Temple; devotees injured; Police ruled out terror attack

Amritsar News: The blast took place on Heritage Street in Amritsar, Punjab at around 12 o’clock on Saturday night. Due to this, the glass on the windows in Saragarhi parking was spread all around. This glass hit 5 to 6 devotees, due to which they sustained injuries.
   After investigation, the police found that it was an accident and there was no need for anyone to panic. At the same time, the forensic team will also investigate today.
   The accident took place in front of Saragarhi Sarai on Heritage Street and just outside the parking lot. At around 12 o’clock, people were roaming on Heritage Street. Then there was a loud explosion. About 6 tourist girls from other states came by auto nearby. On which the glass fell. Also, a young man was sleeping on a nearby bench, whose leg was hit by a large piece of glass and he was injured. Another person also suffered minor injuries on his arm.
   Within minutes, the police reached the spot. The investigation was started. People started seeing the blast as a terrorist attack, but after some time in the investigation, the police made it clear that it was not an attack, it was an accident.
