Farmers Unions announce to shut down all toll plazas from Nov 15
Punjab News: Farmers in Punjab have announced the closure of all toll plazas from November 15. Announcing this, 20 farmer organizations from north India said that the government is not paying attention to the problems of the farmers. So they have to start a big struggle once again.
Farmer leaders Sarwan Singh Pandher, Jaswinder Singh Longowal, Jarnail Singh Kaleke and Amarjeet Singh Mohri said Dussehra would be celebrated by burning effigies of the government on October 23 and 24. Farmer leaders are demanding that a guarantee law be enacted to ensure procurement of all crops at MSP and prices of all crops. It should be decided according to the Swaminathan Commission report.
