Nitin Kohli inaugurates ₹2.36 crore road project from Dhilwan Chowk to Talhan Phatak in Jalandhar

The ₹2.36-crore project will now move into the construction phase, with the road work expected to improve the route for residents and commuters once completed.

Jalandhar News (Jasvinder): The construction work of the main road leading to the historic Talhan Gurdwara Sahib, from Dhilwan Chowk to Talhan Phatak, was inaugurated on Tuesday at an estimated cost of ₹2.36 crore.
The inauguration was carried out by Nitin Kohli, AAP Halka Incharge, Jalandhar Central and Jalandhar Municipal Corporation Mayor and Halka in-charge for Jalandhar North Vaneet Dhir marking the beginning of the road development project.
The project is aimed at improving the road infrastructure and connectivity along the route and providing better commuting facilities to residents and daily commuters. The road is an important route for people travelling towards the surrounding areas, and the construction work is expected to strengthen the existing civic infrastructure.
Speaking on the occasion, Nitin Kohli said that development of basic infrastructure and improvement of roads are among the key requirements of residents. He said that the commencement of the ₹2.36-crore project is an important step towards improving connectivity in the area and addressing the requirements of people using the route.

Nitin Kohli also praised Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for his continued focus on strengthening basic infrastructure and ensuring that development works are being undertaken across the state.
