Punjab govt launches ‘Beej’ app for farmers

PunjabENews: The Punjab government today launched a mobile app ‘Beej’ for farmers to get information about whether the seeds purchased by them are approved or not.

The app was launched by Agriculture Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal. He said that the cotton growers of the state had to suffer huge losses by purchasing unapproved seeds and to avoid this, the government has launched this app.
