Truck operators to lift sit-in protest from Shambhu barrier today

Punjab News: The truck operators are preparing to lift the sit-in at the Shambhu border, which has been going on for the last several days.

A meeting was held between the truck operators and the government yesterday, after which a consensus was reached between the two, after which the truck operators decided to end the sit-in after the written assurance of the government. After which the sit-in is being lifted from shambhu barrier.
Truck operators said that the first of their demands was the restoration of the truck union.
A written letter has been given by the panel of ministers. It has been said that till the time the policy does not come in their favor, they should do their work in the same way. After this assurance, the sit-in is being lifted by them.
