Karnataka: 6 people, including 3 women, killed, 16 injured in road accident

Belagavi (Karnataka): At least six persons, including three women, were killed and 16 injured when a vehicle carrying pilgrims collided with a tree at Chichnoor in the district in the wee hours today. Five persons died on the spot and the sixth succumbed to his injuries at a hospital, police said. The injured are undergoing treatment at a hospital.
