2.12 crore voters in Punjab: 24433 polling stations in 13 circles
Chandigarh: The voter list in Punjab has been updated, with a total of 2,12,71,246 eligible voters set to cast their votes in the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
A total of 24,433 polling stations will be established across the 13 parliamentary constituencies in the state.
Punjab Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sibin C shared the details of the total polling stations and voters across the 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab on Friday.
Among the voters, there are 1,11,92,959 males, 1,77,543 females, and 744 transgenders listed in the voter registry.
Patiala boasts the highest number of voters in Punjab, with 17,87,747 eligible voters set to participate in the elections.
Conversely, Fatehgarh Sahib has the lowest number of voters, with 15,39,155 voters listed. Additionally, Amritsar has the lowest number of polling stations in Punjab, with 1676 stations designated for voters.
