40th Surjit Hockey Tournament: Spectators to get a chance to win Alto Car as a prize- DC Sarangal

Jalandhar News: The unveiling ceremony of Alto Car to be given as prize to the lucky spectator of the country’s famous 40th Indian Oil Surjit Hockey Tournament was performed today by the Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal.

     Vishesh Sarangal who is also the President of Surjit Hockey Society said that the under the slogan ‘Watch Hockey – Win Alto Car and other attractive Prizes’, as like in past, this year also Maruti Alto Car will be given as a prize to the lucky spectator who come to witness the 40th Surjit Hockey Tournament, starting from October 25 here at Surjit Hockey stadium.

      Sarangal further said that this car had been sponsored by the local Marwaha Autos .

     DC also said that apart from the Maruti Alto car, more exciting prizes like refrigerator, LCD, washing machine etc. will be given to the spectators.

     The spectators will get daily lucky coupons at every entry gate of Surjit Hockey Stadium each day from October 25 to November 3 while players will be issued lucky coupons on the day of their first match.

     The draw will be held on the spot immediately after the final match on November 3. For this purpose, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of senior vice president of the society Ram Partap.

    On this occasion, Rajan Berry from Indian Oil, CEO Iqbal Singh Sandhu, Secretary Ranbir Singh Tut, General Secretary Surinder Singh Bhapa, DCP Aditya, Natha Singh Gakhal, Ram Partap, Randeep Gupta, NPS Judge, Arvinder Singh Kular, Parveen Gupta, Gaurav Aggarwal and others were present.
