“AAP entered the Lok Sabha today, if the people of the country wanted…” says Arvind Kejriwal after AAP’s win in Jalandhar
Punjab E News: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has won the Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat in Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party candidate Sushil Rinku defeated his nearest rival and Congress candidate Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary.
On this victory, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said at the party headquarters, “AAP entered the Lok Sabha today, if the people of the country want, we will also be in majority in the Lok Sabha”.
Delhi CM said that people have approved the work of Bhagwant Mann. Congratulations to you for that. Last time, we formed the government by winning 92 seats. Even in that wave, out of 9 seats in Jalandhar, we could win only four, Congress won 5. But today AAP has won seven out of nine seats. In 2019, we got only 2.5 per cent votes in Jalandhar, today we have got 34 per cent votes.”
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said that we do not do politics of religion or caste. We were seeking votes on mohalla clinics, schools, free electricity infrastructure. It is good that people have started liking positive politics. Arvind Kejriwal’s convoy that started from Delhi has become big. Today we have an MP in the Lok Sabha. Now we have a presence everywhere. Arvind Kejriwal has given a lot of time for Punjab.
“This is the victory of our volunteers. Thank you to those who abused us, made objectionable comments, spoke nonsense on personal life. Now people don’t like all this. In the coming days, those misguided people may also change their agenda,” said CM Mann.
